Apple's largest high-end model in the upcoming iPhone 17 series this year will feature a smaller Dynamic Island, according to Weibo-based

Apple could be updating the TrueDepth Camera in the iPhone 17 Pro Max, with a reconfiguration rumored to make the size of it and the Dynamic Island much smaller.

The Pro Max version of Apple's beloved iPhone tends to be the first to receive significant upgrades and design changes. From there, Apple trickles them down to other devices if they're popular. The iPhone 17 Pro Max could be on tap to get another change, this time in the form of a smaller Dynamic Island.

An insider says Apple will shrink the iPhone 17 Pro Max's Dynamic Island, but Face ID isn't going under the screen this year.
