Air India has completed mandatory inspections of fuel control switch locking mechanisms across its entire Boeing Co. (NYSE:BA) 737 and 787 fleet, finding no issues with the critical safety components,
Air India said on Tuesday it has completed precautionary inspections of the fuel control switch locking mechanism on all its Boeing 787 and 737 aircraft, with no issues detected.
Air India said Tuesday that preliminary inspections found no issues in the locking mechanism of fuel control switches for select Boeing aircrafts.
Air India said that it had started voluntary inspections on 12 July, and completed them within the prescribed time limit set by the DGCA. The same was communicated to the regulator.
