Regent University announced that Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears will be the keynote speaker at the school’s 45th Commencement Ceremony on May 10, 2025.

The Norfolk School Board has gotten to work on determining which of the city's public schools will close or be consolidated in the next five years.
