Hudson, Clinton and Madison are all in the team finals and will look to make some noise in Kalamazoo this weekend

Four wrestling mats stretched across the entirety of the Wings Event Center floor on Friday afternoon. The stage was set for eight unique showdowns across MHSAA D2 and D3 wrestling, as teams competed in the state quarterfinals.

The Lakewood wrestling team is heading to the state semifinals. The No. 6-seeded Vikings got clutch wins in the final two matches while picking up a 38-28 victory over No. 3 seed Whitehall in a Division 3 quarterfinal at Wings Events Center in Kalamazoo.

Wrestlers from across the state met on the mat with an opportunity to keep their teams' seasons alive. The MHSAA Division 4 team wrestling state quarterfinals kicked the day off at noon followed by Division 1 at 2:15 p.
