MIDLAND, MI — A vehicle-pedestrian crash on Christmas Eve has claimed the life of a Midland man. Midland police responded to the crash scene on Bay City Road near Burgess Street around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24. They arrived to find an unconscious 49-year-old man lying in the road with serious injuries.

The Midland Police Department is investigating a Christmas Eve shooting that left one person dead. According to MPD, around 10:10 p.m. on December 24, officers responded to a shooting in the 5000 block of Pleasant Drive.

Texas Rangers are investigating a Christmas Eve officer-involved shooting in Midland following a vehicle pursuit.

The Texas Rangers are investigating the incident that started at a Walgreens in the 200 block of Andrews Highway around 9 p.m.

Seward Swann, 49, died after being shot on Christmas Eve in southwest Midland. Suspects have not yet been identified.

Police responded to a report of an injury accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. When they arrived they discovered an unconscious 49-year-old Midland resident lying in the roadway with injuries. The man later died at MyMichigan Medical Center.

A 23-year-old is dead after a shooting in Logan County on Christmas Eve, according to Bellefontaine Chief of Police Christopher Marlow. Bellefontaine police and medics were called to the 200 N Detroit St.

One person died after a Christmas Eve shooting in Vallejo, the Vallejo Police Department said. The shooting happened around 12:56 a.m. on the 200 block of Broadway. Officers arrived at the scene and located a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound,
