Abdukodir Khusanov threatened to make headlines for all the wrong reasons on his Manchester City debut but only an offside flag denied Omar Marmoush a dream beginning with the club in an entertaining 3-1 Premier League win over Chelsea.

The Egyptian striker is officially the owner of the No. 7 shirt at Manchester City after completing his transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt. The defending English champions reportedly paid a $73 million fee to bring the in-form Marmoush to the Etihad during the January transfer window.

Manchester City have completed the signing of Omar Marmoush from German side Eintracht Frankfurt. City have paid their Bundesliga counterparts a fee in the region of €70million (£59m) to €75m (£63m) plus bonuses.
