Today will be another Weather Impact Alert Day for the risk of strong to severe storms, heavy rain and localized flooding.
Flooding concerns and the threat for strong-to-severe weather are in the forecast again Sunday. This is thanks to a slow moving, stubborn frontal system which will bring rounds of heavy rain and storms. A FLOOD WATCH is in place for the WLWT viewing area through Monday morning.
A First Alert for wildfire smoke on Sunday into Monday, which will lead to poor air quality and reduced visibility at times. If you have breathing challenges or plans to do strenuous exercising, it is better to stay indoors during this time.
Highs are very hot! Low to mid-90s should do it for most places. Looking ahead to a front coming through the area on Monday. This front will spark up a good amount of storms in the afternoon. About half to over half of us should get storms on Monday. However, once that front passes, some relief comes in store.
