Utah 50501, the organizers of Saturday's protest in downtown Salt Lake City, say there was an "imminent threat" to protesters before the deadly shooting.
Utah resident Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, 39, was shot and critically wounded during the protest in Salt Lake City on Saturday, June 14. He later died in the hospital from his injuries, the Salt Lake City Police Department confirmed in a news release.
Most of the "No Kings" protests across the country were peaceful, however, one person has died from a shooting in Salt Lake City.
