“Brand New Day” is based on the Spider-Man comic storyline of the same name. In the comic book story, Parker lands a deal with Mephisto to make the world forget he is Spider-Man and resurrect Aunt May. However, the spell essentially reboots his world and dissolves his marriage with MJ.

Man Day to all those who celebrate. In honor of the holiday, Sony gifted fans with the briefest of teasers for their next web-crawling adventure, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The nine-second clip showcases parts of Tom Holland’s new Spider-Man suit.

The first-look images come a few days after Sony unveiled Holland's new Spidey suit and Mark Ruffalo was announced as part of the film's cast.
