A volcanic eruption in southwestern Iceland has once again forced the evacuation of local residents and tourists at the internationally known Blue Lagoon geothermal spa.

Tourists at Iceland's Blue Lagoon geothermal spa were forced to pack up and get out as a volcanic eruption left lava oozing from a 3,000-foot fissure in the ground.

A volcanic eruption in southwest Iceland has prompted evacuations, including at nearby tourist sites like the Blue Lagoon.
