A new backstage report reveals how Naomi's unexpected absence impacted plans for Monday's WWE Raw, including an idea for Asuka to turn heel on IYO Sky

A fresh report from PWInsider Elite suggests that WWE plans to expedite Asuka's heel turn on TV soon. The veteran, who returned this past June following a year on the bench, accidentally cost old Damage CTRL stablemate IYO SKY a match on this past week's episode of Raw.

According to PWInsider Elite (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News), Naomi was present backstage for Monday's Raw in Quebec City, and the reason for her match against Sky getting called off has been kept "quiet" from other people in the company, including wrestlers.
