Feb 28, 2020 · Kobe was only ID’d with prints so... Kobe's body and the others' were always going to be ID'd by prints or other definitive means like DNA, regardless of the state of the remains. So that doesn't necessarily mean his body was unrecognizable. It could have been, maybe not. Just think best case scenario, it's better that way.

Sep 17, 2020 · They interviewed Kobe's previous helicopter pilot Kurt Deese. Kurt stated Kobe would've never pressured him or any other helicopter pilot that flew him. Pilot has the final say whether or not flight was a go or not. Your comment is really tasteless. I do agree with you that they should've rented a mini bus and HOV laned it there.

Problem was this was not media covering the crash, this was a Sherriff collecting souvenirs taking 100 gruesome close-ups of Kobe's detached arm and shit. Then the Sherriff was caught lying saying the pictures were requested by command. and here we are.

The pictures had even been on rotten.com (when that existed). I recall seeing the pictures and the captions were about how her rich parents were looking for sympathy about the "horrific accident". Everything hit the fan when the true nature of the accident was that she had cocaine in her system and had gotten into a huge fight with her parents.

The guy isn’t special over any other helicopter crash victim I get that but this didn’t have to happen and once it did it’s absolutely fucking crazy that police officers showed pictures of her husbands brainless, legless, one armed torso to people at a bar.

The public servants that took pictures of the victims of this tragic scene not only disgraced their respective agencies but disgraced the profession. Responding and protecting any scene is what first responders like PD and FD are sworn to do.

Aug 12, 2022 · Yeah his story was odd, he had a lot of pictures of these dead bodies though, I dont know why he had so many. Edit: also wanted to add this story was from 7 or 8 years ago now. A lot of it is fuzzy, I remember him saying something about having to tow them, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t hamming it up a little bit to seem more interesting.
