🥱Migration is exhausting! This tired, juvenile Black-bellied Plover, along with another, touched down at Whitefish Point on the afternoon of Sept. 18 and spent the rest of the day foraging and resting. These birds still have a long way to go before reaching their wintering grounds. They'll end up either on the eastern coast of the U.S., in the Caribbean, or possibly on the northern shores of Central/South America.
