We raise 4,000 chickens per year and sell them direct to consumer locally through farmers markets and our Lowcountry Farm Box subscription service. We like our chickens to forage more than anything, but we still supplement them with certified organic grain. They get a little less than 1/4 pound per bird per day and they are always really happy to get their supplementation. This provides them with additional minerals and protein to guarantee a balanced diet and healthy, happy birds while they rot
