A car fire sent dark smoke billowing into the sky above Heathrow Airport this morning (January 21). The vehicle went up in flames in the Terminal 5 forecourt shortly before 8am. Firefighters stationed at the airport managed to extinguish the blaze before the London Fire Brigade (LFB​) arrived. No one was injured in the incident, LFB confirmed in a statement. Flights have not been affected, and the airport is operating as normal. | MyLondon
