Calloway County 2, Murray High 0 Calloway County won the 2nd District Girls Soccer Tournament championship for the first time in program history Wednesday night with a 2-0 win over host Murray High at the Mallary France Soccer Complex. Calloway County fell by a 2-0 score Saturday night in a boys soccer match with Kentucky’s seventh-ranked team, Warren Central out of the traditionally very strong Bowling Green area. The Lakers (now 8-6-1) were able to send the match to halftime scoreless against the very fast Dragons (13-2-1).
