New Hope and Ivyland 40 leaves New Hope station with the 12 o clock train on its last day of operation before its 1472 inspection. This means the locomotive needs to be taken apart and inspected, repaired and then put back together. This process can take years so this will likely be the last time we see 40 out on the rails for quite some time. This has always been one of our favorite local steam engines and we have had many fine memories behind it and chasing it so even with the busy holiday sea
