Tupak, an Andean bear also known as the spectacled bear, was airlifted from the Quito Zoo back to its natural habitat after being spotted in northern Ecuador foraging for food. After initially fitting him with a tracking collar and relocating him, Tupak was recaptured when he ventured too close to inhabited areas.
