Atlanta State Park is one of a handful of beautiful East Texas piney woods parks I visited in the last few weeks. I think that area is really slept on for outdoorsy weekend road trips from the big cities. And I didn’t learn the story of Bessie Coleman until I started researching @atlantatexas after my visit.
