The FreeMe Wildlife team had put immense amounts of time, care, and enrichment to prepare this bird for this day. 😲🧐👍 Captive bred and parent raised, this bird needed to molt and regrow its primary wing feathers after they had been cut to prevent it flying from its enclosure. These sun-loving insects make nests out of soil, twigs, leaves and pine needles in open glades, rides and along woodland edges.
