The current radar loop shows some light rain showers mostly to the northwest of Pittsburgh, gradually moving southeastward. Radar returns closer to the radar (yellow area) are mainly near-surface returns from things like insects (including lanternflies!). Radar update - strong storms continue south of the PA/WV border. Wind gusts to 50 MPH, hail and torrential rain are possible in the stronger cells. Isolated flooding may also become a concern. We cannot rule out additional warnings in the area of concern. To the north, severe weather is not anticipated but numerous showers will continue this evening.
