New display at the Weston Library! 'The Lighted Window' is free to view in the Transept at the far end of Blackwell Hall and features a joy-sparking collection of the Bodleian's transparencies. Transparencies are coloured prints, varnished on the reverse and designed to be lit from behind (originally with an oil lamp or candle, though we now use LED lights) to reveal a captivating illuminated affect.
